Our friends over at JazzSmart (www.jazzsmart.com) have been busy over the last year creating and rehearsing a Big Band. They are keen to attract more brass players (trumpets, trombones) and a pianist along to their rehearsals on Monday nights in New Milton, Hampshire. The rehearsals run from 7:45pm-9:45pm and are structured in a way to educate players in the ways of Big Band.
Musicworx is excited to announce a 3 day Youth Orchestra Workshop at Durlston Court School on 6th – 8th April 2020. Over the three days we will be working on different styles of music, Baroque to Jazz and beyond. This immersive environment is great for fast-tracking your child’s progress and giving them the experience and confidence to play in other ensembles.
